How It Started
Laying a strong foundation for the future
BookClub first brought us in for a quick tune-up - Core Web Vitals optimization. But beneath the surface, we found a deeper issue: a messy codebase, excessive CSS, and an inconsistent structure left by previous vendors.
What started as a simple fix turned into a full-scale transformation. Working closely with their marketing team, we tackled SEO, page speed, and user experience. We future-proofed the site with a design system, improved accessibility, and refined branding, creating a cohesive, high-performing digital experience.

How it’s going
A 360° approach to website performance
We took a holistic approach to performance enhancements - optimizing the backend, frontend, and design, while collaborating with the team in brainstorming sessions and strategy workshops. Removing technical headaches meant their team could focus entirely on marketing and growth.

1/3
Speeding things up
One of our biggest wins was cutting the website’s CSS file by nearly 70%.Since it loaded on every page, this alone had an immediate impact on speed. We also cleaned up sitemap, canonical, and robots.txt issues for better SEO.
By fine-tuning fonts, images, and adding lazy loading to scripts like Google Pixel, LinkedIn Pixel, and ZoomInfo, we further improved Core Web Vitals. To make sure the improvements had a solid foundation, we built a clear, SEO-friendly site architecture.
2/3
Clean, scalable design
Design wasn’t just about making things look good, it was about making BookClub’s site more accessible, consistent, and easier to manage. We built a component-based design system, allowing elements to be reused across different pages without breaking consistency. By refining branding and communication, we helped create a more unified digital presence and clearer messaging.
3/3
Upgrading lead capture
We built custom forms that dynamically adjusted based on user input, making the lead capture process smoother. On top of that, we implemented a custom tracking solution that captures traffic source data and passes it directly into the CRM. This gives the client full visibility into where each lead is coming from, helping them measure ROI on ad spend and fine-tune attribution. We also built a script to sort incoming emails, ensuring every lead was categorized.
